Simone Biles
Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was thought to be to be one of the top athletes. The 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in a single Games as well as the first gymnast in history to win three consecutive World All-around championships (2013-15). Biles is from Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) took them in as adoptees. The Biles family grew up in the Houston metropolitan area. Simone was introduced to the sport by her daycare instructor Aimee Borman when she was 6 years old. She was a student at Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles earned a silver in vault in 2010 and a bronze medal at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. Biles then advanced to elite-level competitions in 2011. Less than two years later she was the most dominant athlete in the field. Biles's consistency, her exuberant character and her high level of effort in her four events -vault uneven bars, balance beam floor workout and floor exercise -- set her apart.
