LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30, 1984) was an American professional basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). King James, he's widely regarded to be the greatest player of all-time and frequently compared to Michael Jordan during debates about the greatest basketballer ever. James has four NBA champions. There are four NBA MVPs. Four NBA Finals MVPs. Three All-Star MVPs. And two Olympic golds. James has scored more points in the playoffs. He has the second highest number of career points, and has the seventh-highest number of career assists. James has been named to be an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times, and was named on be named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. He was the 3rd player to compete in NBA Finals. Eight of those were consecutive from 2011 to 2018. James was selected for the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. In 2022, he became the very first NBA player to score 10,000 points in his career. James was a basketball player for St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron in Ohio. The school was recognized by media across the nation as the next NBA super star. To prepare for the pro game it was the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the first pick overall during the NBA draft in 2003. Being the NBA rookie of the year 2004 he established himself quickly as one of the most elite players in the league. receiving the NBA MVP awards in the years 2009 and 2010. James joined Miami Heat in 2010 when the team became a free agent after not achieving an NBA Championship in Cleveland. The news was broadcast in The Decision.
