Julia Fiona Roberts, born 28th October 1967 in Atlanta with Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Roberts is fourth in the Roberts generation to reside in Atlanta from her great-grandfather who was a farmer John Pendleton Roberts. Her father was a theatre enthusiast at an early stage. When he was a student at Emory University he appeared in diverse productions, both at and off the campus. After joining the airforce, in 1953 he appeared in an airforce production in Biloxi together with Betty Lou Bredemus. They got married in the year 1955 and the couple's first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. In 1957, the couple quit the Air Force and Walter began his studies in Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter was recruited by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to assist on the stage of the television show Bum Bum His Buddies, which aired in Decatur Georgia. Walter as well as Betty Lou began producing a television show for children in the city of Decatur, Georgia titled Bum Bum and His Buddies. They funded the show their own. In 1964 Betty Lou and Walter founded the Actors and Writers Workshop. It ran for about six years. Lelisa Billingsley, also known as Lisa, was born in the year 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
