Lisa Edelstein, an American actor best recognized for her role in House the Fox medical drama series. Growing up in Wayne within a conservative Jewish customs, she emigrated in New York City at the age of eighteen to study theater at Tisch school of arts. However, very quickly, she became involved in the city's club scene, and was able to make enough headlines that she was noticed by the press, simultaneously, she became aware of the devastation of AIDS. She utilised both her musical training and fame to make and appear in a musical of her own, Positive Me. Shortly thereafter she landed an interview with MTV, hosting Awake in the Wild Side. When Awake on the Wild Side stopped running, she started acting in films and on television, initially in short role. As time went on, her work as an actress increased.
