Sarah Michelle Gellar, the pretty actress who achieved fame as Buffy Summers on the television show 'Buffy the vampire Slayer', is a skilled film actress as well. She was predestined to be an actress. She was discovered by an agent at only four years old, and asked to audition for acting in the television film, 'An Invasion of Privacy'. This gave her a platform in the media and made her a model. As a young girl she continued to appear in TV programs and even secured minor roles in Hollywood films. Her breakthrough was when, as a teen, she got the role of Sydney Rutledge in the teen drama "Swans' Crossing'. She played Kendall Hart in the ABC soap drama 'All My Children which was well-received and won her several honors and awards, which included one Emmy Award. Eventually she made her foray into mainstream Hollywood and was offered parts in films based on horror such as 'I I Know What You Did Last Summer' and "Scream 2'. The greatest moment in her career occurred when she was selected to portray Buffy Summers in the highly famous vampire show "Buffy the vampire Slayer.".
