Chaka Khan
Chaka Khan is a famous American music producer and singer. Also, she's known as her popular nickname, the Queen of Funk. In the course of her nearly fifty years of career she has received a total of 10 Grammys. Billboard has ranked her as the 65th-most popular dancer of all time. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, she was introduced to jazz music by her grandmother when she was a child. The beginning years of her career, she performed in various bands. In the end, she was a part of the group Rufus. at the age of twenty she recorded her debut album, along in the band. A year later, the group won the group's first Grammy. A few years later she was able to make her debut as an independent artist and she released her debut self-titled album. Her subsequent releases included a variety of albums over the years, including 'Echoes of an Era', 'The Woman I Am', and "Funk It". Beyond her contributions to the music industry, she also received recognition as a charitable persona. She founded Chaka Khan Foundation to help children in need. Chaka Khan Foundation to help children from poor families, in addition to individuals with autism. Khan additionally acts as actress on occasion. Khan played Sister Carrie on stage in musical "Mama, I Want to Sing.'
